Nordair

If there are any former ND pilots here, go over to Youtube and search Nordair trobute. There are three videos put up in the past couple of months.

And, if any of you fly to Geneva, send me a pm. The beer is on me.

Now there's a deal! Considering the price of a beer in Geneva :drink:

On the wagon on the red for the moment. Despite that, there being some boxes of Pommard and Gevry-Chambertin lying around. :prayer:
I also have two bottles of 2004 Tignanello waiting to be ready. The 2007 WS voted it number 4 of the Top 100 wines. It just might be good.

I did tell you I have a shack 30 minutes from Meursault?

Good to hear from you matey !

Great tribute and what a fleet!

After seeing this thread started a few days ago I was thinking of you guys as I flew NDU into Cambridge Bay and Coppermine yesterday in a 4 and 34 config. Don't believe in the global warming BS... it's still bloody cold and white up there! :)

I believe my mom's cousin and her husband both worked at Nordair, I'll have to send the link to them!

Does anyone notice how genuinely happy
everyone in the business was at that time?

Anyone know where "Smokey"
Crawford got to?

Remember him selling the Canadian
Aircraft Operator newspaper at the
Toronto Interline Club whenever he
was in town.

Happy and relaxed..no paranoia about being on an open ramp around an a/c..I remember arriving at the yqt aiport, cutting through the ticket counter, out onto the ramp and up the airstairs or when the commisionaire would open the bypass door for you without even batting an eye at your mot pass.
Another ancedote was how efficient the ramp staff was at loading/unloading a combi-taking a fraction of the time using a large forklift as opposed to the pallet loaders introduced after the merge.
