This is more of a question for pilots that go overseas...long haul flights. How many trips do you usually do a month? Something i wondered...thanks for replies

3.5 - 4 trips/month
2 long haul and 2 others (medium or short haul)
avg. 75 hrs/month

Permitted by the rostering computer to do max 2 ULR flights/month. (ie 14 hour+) The rest is filled in with anything from a 35 min flight to 10 hour flights, up to about 85 hours.
Used to be closer to 75 hours but their justification is with one roundtrip flight providing potentially about 30-35 hours, well...

Scan and attach it big shot.
The OP made an inquiry of long haul pilots and you feel the need to barrel out your chest and step in with a useless response.
A quick search reveals onetreehill trolls around hurling insults, personal attacks and an arrogant cockiness. With his Westjet uniform freshly thrown to the laundry (floor) he reaches for his computer to check responses.
A class(less) act who should be ignored (I couldn't resist this one time).
IP tracking sure would clam your yap.

lol I'd be happy to compare T4's...except...I don't pay income tax.
I wish I could afford to work at WestJet. But if chumps like onetreehill are indicative of the mindset, well...no big loss, I guess.

I work a mix of one to five day pairings, up to 16 days a month... unless I trade some days away for higher credit pairings in which case I get away with a few less days worked. So the number of trips is a function of pairing length.
Not sure if this helps...
