Canadian Gulfstream G280 on Manx Register ???

VK Holding of Abbotsford BC registered a brand new Gulfstream G150 C-GVXK on May 12 2010 and was cancelled from the Canadian register on Feb 27 2013. Most photos that captured C-GVXK were taken through out Europe.

A brand new Gulfstream G280 has just been delivered to ???, based ??? registered M-AYBE in the Isle of Man - which is a bizjet tax haven!!, aircraft has identical colours of C-GXVK.

Good for the owner, it's about time Canadian companies realize the international benefits available . This Is no different than the shipping industry has been enjoying for many years.

Tip: Whatever you do, DO NOT Google search the G280's registration and click on images to see pictures of the plane. You probably won't like the results (well, some might, if that's your thing). You've been warned.

More important, it's not certified yet in Canada - impossible to register. Another Canadian customer owns ready to go G280 sitting at the Gulfstream completion center and waiting for the TC certification.

Well the other one made it home yesterday!!!, arrived at YYZ C-FZCC managed by Skyservice.
Their G150 C-FZCC was re-registered C-FZCG and was flown to Savannah - assume trade-in . April 12.

Is it even possible, for Canadian companies to base a plane in Canada if it is not on the Canadian register?

Don't know the rules, but there are several US registered business jets based in Canada.

Bizjets can you explain this one? Registered to Wells Fargo Bank Trustee in SLC. Not like the people of Toronto pump enough money into the team to base a Canadian airplane here.
