Cyeg Transponder codes

When did YEG start with the phone call to get a transponder code? Came through today and it was mentioned to me. What number do you call? I have searched notams and of course, I don't maybe have the most current vfr supp. Been use to this in Calgary, but I don't get this way often. Thanks in advance guys. If the Cormorant I parked beside doesn't knock my 407 on its side, I'll need this info on departure Thursday. Yes, I know, I could call flight services but here I am at present.

You just failed your PCC and admitted guilt in not having current information for your flight. bad pilot.

I've called 1866 vfr code works great takes seconds. Usually call just prior to starting the engine.

Also, I think you are at YXD. Or there is another Cormorant beside a 407.
