Problem is that AC must staff to service level which includes multi-class seating and long haul. Is this why the APU was started prior to start and the sauna of a cabin was maintained until a couple of minutes prior to start? Or is this just standard practice for fuel savings all the time? Must get pretty warm on those wide bodies with such approach if it's true. External air only gets so cold... First world problems right?
