Is Max Torque an old user name?
Hi everyone,
Is Max Torque an old user name. I have posted queries on here in the last couple of years and never ever received a reply on anything. If so, this is not the same guy. Thanks

I do recall that name before the website changed in 2004. There was an original poster from back then with that handle, but I havent seen or heard anything for years. If you were able to register it, its yours now.
If you tried to take Cat Driver or some of the other top posters, that may cause a stink...but I havent seen anything from Max Torque in 10 years so your good to go...and welcome to the board!

Re: Is Max Torque an old user name?
I remember Max Torque being a pseudonym used by a contributing author in some aviation publication back in the 80s or 90s. I don't remember the publication name, but I recall Max Torque's columns being inside back page colour stories, generally starting out with a phrase like "And there we were..."; stressful situation, astute problem solving, a bit of fortuity and of course, great hilarity ensuing. My memory is far from flawless though.

I'm thinking that "Max Torque" may have been a Helicopter Pilot in the Aviation Safety Vortex newsletter from Transport Canada?

On board a chopper on lift-off, if my hands reach my feet, it's definitely MAX Torque.
