337 down in the Kootenays

Post by iflyforpie »

I got some bad news this morning that a Cessna 337 flown by a pilot who used to work for us crashed in the Purcell Range just north of Crawford Bay. One on board, fatal. :(

It was a pleasure knowing you, working with you, and flying with you. Godspeed.

Very sad to hear that. Thought it might have been fire patrol, but I'm told they haven't started yet.

T.Q.?

North of Crawford Bay? Grey Creek pass? There's a couple of wrecks back there. Terrible news.
