Do not train on a more expensive aircraft. Do not think training on jet-buggy or any other larger helicopter is somehow going to make you a better pilot or easier too hire. Its simple will not. Good flying techniques in a Bell 47 or an Astar are same. The aircraft have different systems and some quirks. The same good flying techniques apply to both. In Canada there is no such thing as a "turbine endorsement" another lie schools sell. Go to a school with good instructors and don't be fooled into spending more money than needed.

Unless the laws of physics, aerodynamics and mechanics have been changed over the last decade learning to fly a piston engine helicopter makes for a better pilot.....you can get checked out on a turbine when you need to.Do not train on a more expensive aircraft.
