CAP GEN QUESTION

Post by CAVESPRING »

Hey folks, quick question:

Im looking at a CAP GEN EFFECTIVE 20 SEP 2012 (don't have a new one here for reference) and on page 46 it shows the APPROACH CHART LEGEND-MINIMA BOX

On the last Minima Box shown, there is a VOR/DME Minima Box example and it shows 1380 (471) 1

I was under the impression that 1380 would be the MDA, 471 would be the HAT and 1 would be the Advisory Vis, but they labeled the 1380 as the DA and 471 as DH.

Just making sure that its a typo cause its confusing me! A VOR/DME is a NPA, there should not be a DA/DH right?

Thanks!

most likely as typo, as I looked at the current CAP GEN and it has the same example, but it lables the 1380 as your MDA (5), and 471 as your HAT(6)
