Where should I start from?

Post by Tnd1 »

Hello,

I am a recent international graduate of an AME-M training course, seeking an apprentice position and hopping to get the position in an AMO for M2 class aircraft. However, as a newbie being picky is maybe not a good idea to start my career unless I have something a very special that makes potential employers be amazed, so I would like to ask you, it is hard to change field from M1 to M2 ?

Fix wing M1 to M2 is not hard.
But going from helicopters to fix wing or the other way around....might be a bit weird at first, but you'll get use to it.

When choosing your employer, don't go working for those that pay really low. You'll be freaken miserable and will be living on campbell soup.

What is your interest? Big planes or little ones?

Anyway, pick one and focus on it.

Good luck!
Don't give up until you find what you're looking for.
A good attitude is a great start...it goes a long way.
