Re: Lowest landing speed?
what do you mean by "bush" -- a cub -- beaver -- helio courrier (which is likely the winner ) or any number of fling wings ---

Let`s say: bush commercial flights. Are any H. Courier still flying? (I live in Europe, however i`m a big fan of this forum, especially pics are interesting)
Re: Lowest landing speed?
A cessna 206 is a very popular bush plane. With a Robinson STOL kit they get touchdown speeds as low as 30 kts.
Decent sized cabin. Bit of a C of G issue sometimes. Belly pod available. Good load carry capacity.
Generally a good commercial machine.

Re: Lowest landing speed?
You must mean a Robertson stol kit. And I remember a published stall speed of 38kts with it on the 206. Not to say you couldn't drag it in slower with power I suppose...A cessna 206 is a very popular bush plane. With a Robinson STOL kit they get touchdown speeds as low as 30 kts.
Wouldn't that big Russian biplane, the AN2 I think, be the slowest landing commercial assuming you don't limit yourself to North American aircraft?
Re: Lowest landing speed?
The Robertson STOL on the 206 is an amazing feature and really improves the capability of the airplane. For us when doing the "Robertson T/O" as described on the STC its not uncommon to have a T/O of about 150 feet (empty). As for landing she still wants to fly at 30 knots with full flap.

It would be interesting..considering that the Husky is a 2 seat aircraft. It is a Super Cub on steroids.

Re: Lowest landing speed?
Husky will definitely not take the abuse the cub will but more comfortable to cruise around in. No experience with the Helio.... but I would really like to try it. Question is kinda vague. Difference between a 206 and cub is huge. May as well throw the twotter into the confusion, depending on what you want to do but I don't think you will get a much slower landing speed or shorter take off and landing than with any legally registered commercial craft than a cub.
