Father and son identified as victims in fatal plane crash
No severe weather reported near Torquay at time of crash

It's still unclear exactly what brought down a Cessna 172C plane near Torquay on Sunday.
Two people died when the plane they were travelling in crashed about six kilometres northeast of Torquay. On Monday, RCMP identified the victims as a father and son from the Torquay area. Phillip Wimmer, 59, and Bradley Wimmer, 29, were both found dead at the site following the crash.
Although there were funnel clouds and thunderstorms reported throughout southern Saskatchewan Sunday morning, Peter Hildebrand from the Transportation Safety Board said they don't have any reports of severe weather at the time of the crash.
It isn't known exactly where the plane took off from but it was heading east towards Lampman.
An investigation team from the Transportation Safety Board is on the scene.
More information is expected later Monday afternoon.
