EFC truck driver ad
I find that ad somewhat entertaining.
So are they advertising here because they:
A) Figure that pilots will realise they can make more money driving trucks or:
B) Figure pilots will give up on aviation and start driving trucks?
Guess they're pretty much the same thing.....

1. The company pays me to make money for it.
2. If the company doesn't make money neither do I

I know more than one person who's aviation career died on an EFC ramp cause they pay quite well for a job that requires no skills.

Re: EFC truck driver ad
I noticed they ask for +3 years of off-highway experience. My guess is delivering JetA to heli-logging and forestry fuel cache sites. Driving a truck loaded with fuel in that neck of the woods, to those places, not for the faint of heart.
I also know more than a few seasonal pilots who take a turn behind the wheel during the winter months, so you could argue that there is a legitimate place for the ad here. That being said, they are an aviation business and as such, know darn well there are semi-intelligent people here who are woefully underemployed.

Off road fuel haulers make good coin in BC, AB. Anyone work for these people recently? They have been posting quite a few ads on various job sites lately for rampies all over Alberta (including Fort McMurray). Decent company to work for?
