Volcanic activity in iceland

Anyone get "memos" regarding their NAT routes when flying in that area. I got a vacation next week to athens. Eruption is forecasted within a few hours to a day.

Wondering how this will unfold :|

Still sleeping. Could stay that way for days, weeks, months........it's been quiet for over 100 yrs.Flew over it this morning, hope it stays quiet! It is much bigger than the volcano in 2010.

Airspace closed around the predicted breach of the volcano.

Official reporting of a small eruption started a few minutes ago under 500 meters of ice.

Standby for the big show.

As predicted by scientists monitoring this volcanic development just a few hours ago the volcano has breached the surface. There is a nice glow now and it should get much, much bigger in the next few hours and days.
