AC JAZZ Sim Eval

To the guys/ girls that have completed the sim eval what type of aircraft did you do the sim eval on?

Where did you conduct the sim eval?

Was CL-600 sim in Montreal. Thsy were using old AirNova standards but that was in 2000-01

Cl 600 in monteral.
Basic IFR ride, T/O, hold and 2 approaches. Nothing to fancy.

SOP's were pretty basic, as were emergency calls. Whatever power settings they give you for certain speeds, they will be too fast, adjust accordingly.
The sim is touchy and fast. Don't get flustered and do your best. They don't expect you to be a pro, they just want to see how you adapt, handle stress and your CRM.

At least this was what it was like in 01.

Dash8 in YYZ (CAE). Just did it last week. Very straight forward. No tricks.

Have many people been called in for the sim & interviews? Have they set a hire date?

I know about 6 including me that went on sim eval recently even ex Jetsgo driver were there, tentative date for the Dash ground school is august 15....good luck to all..
