Way too much non-standard phraseology on the radio these days, and way too many "trigger-happy" replies or check-ons that end up stepping on other transmissions. Most are inconsequential, but some (like this example) almost become big newsmakers.

Among the accident reports it is not that rare to come across evidence of coincidental timing of a radio exchange, although mostly not able to judge in retrospect whether they were a tad lengthy (excessive) or not.
