All these youngsters flying some pretty expensive equipment !!
Just remember that as you get older, you must never pass by a urinal, never trust a fart and never ignore a hard on.

The average pilot, despite the somewhat swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring.
These feelings just don't involve anyone else.

No more than what's reflecting from your words.Learjetpilotjock wrote:Aerospace Science??
What is that?? Is it like basket weaving science with a flying twist?

What's your insecurity all about?Learjetpilotjock wrote: How much did you have to PAY for that gig? We all know that any low hour CANADIAN wonder pilot would not actually earn a REAL Lear job

LearJetPilotJock,
Never count other people's money and never compare what they fly with what you fly. An airplane is just a piece of metal and money is just fancy paper. Be happy with what you have and what you do, and you'll enjoy it more.
If Pachanga is flying left seat on a Lear at 25, that's great!!! Anyone would be delighted to be in that position.
Life is not summed up by an aviation resume.

It's actually a 35, he was commenting on my age when he said 25!Utva wrote:If Pachanga is flying left seat on a Lear at 25, that's great!!! Anyone would be delighted to be in that position.
I give this sentence great merit but it's unfortunate that too many seem to think along these lines.Utva wrote:Life is not summed up by an aviation resume.

Wise words... I totally agree.Utva wrote:LearJetPilotJock,

I agree with the above. Although it is unfortunate at times when not the best person advances in the industry because of financial backing. In other industries like say my degree in Engineering, people generally pay the same amounts for their education and jobs at the end are based on how well you did in school and obviously personality. You do not pay money for your next job.
Now in the aviation industry you see people trying to basically "cheat" the industry and try to pull ahead of others because they take advantage of those companies that make you pay??!! to work for them and for exchange get some hours.
Then these people start bragging how far they have come in the industry when you got people that have much less go up North to a ramp with engineering degrees to go for a dream.
Me, I am now 31 on a Lear and have a resume full of life experience that has been earned through lots of hard work, sweat and flying not $$$.
