In my hangar I would have a Turbo-Beaver, Global Express and an Extra 300.

Ok, this page is starting to talk to me.
Beaver. Globe Swift. And the PC-12 from the last page all sound pretty nice.

The Globe Swift was really ahead of its time, the airplane was a dream to fly but it was very underpowered and it had a rather unusual prop on it called the " Aeromatic " during take off and climb it was in fine pitch, however once you leveled off and reduced power to cruise it went into cruise pitch without the need to have a separate prop pitch control device.
I flew one for several years back in the mid fifties and loved it.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.
