Not at FL either but i do believe so.......errrrrrrrrrr I mean no, it was probably just indigestion......
Re: ever seen a UFO?
Saw one of these once, and while perhaps not a "legit" ufo (whatever that might be) it certainly did make me think WTF!?!
Being stupid around airplanes is a capital offence and nature is a hanging judge!

Re: ever seen a UFO?
I saw what appeared to be an aircraft beacon above the horizon just before sunrise. It was flashing on and off steadily, and seemed to be climbing up and down ahead of us. There wasn't anyone else on centre, so I thought it was odd that I could see another aircraft. It looked like we were going faster than the light and that we would catch up to see what it was, but when we got closer it pulled away, like it was playing with us. After about fifteen minutes it got higher above the horizon and changed to a steady white light. Turns out it was just Venus, and the early morning temperature changes in the air made it look like it was flickering and dancing around.
I also had an optical illusion at night when I was looking at a small town surrounded by blackness, and there appeared to be a light hovering over it. It was actually a light on the ground further in the distance, and with no references there was almost no depth perception.

A friend of mine here in Geneva was a B747 captain for Swissair. He had an "interesting" UFO experience. Simply Google Phil Bobet. Bizarre story.

Twice. Both strange. Both never explained. The truth is out there.

Once, heading back to CYKZ over the city of Markham. I know it wasn't a traditional UFO, but it was something reflective, small, and it spooked me for a few moments. Ended up passing a few feet (so it appeared anyways) off my right wingtip, controller didn't have anything on radar. My best guess, an RC plane or a small drone, but no way to really tell.
Re: ever seen a UFO?
A few months back we were flying West just South of Manitoba. Nice clear night. Generally when we're up at FL430 there is not much higher than us other than the odd Gulfstream or something. We look up to see a dim orange to red glow, moving North across the sky. At first we figured it was a satellite or the ISS, but as it got closer it we could see in the moonlight it was leaving contrails. The red glow was more pronounced after it was moving away from us. Not bright enough to be afterburners, but definitely not any sort of normal lighting. Nothing on TCAS either. And it was waaaay above us. 121.5 lit up with questions of what it was. We figure military... but was very cool to see.

Was researching Springbank Airport and this report came up on one of my searches. Seems pretty credible and recent.

Re: ever seen a UFO?
Hmmm...no UFO's, but sometimes I wish what I see wasn't identifiable. Like when flying over Iraq and look down there on the left, a KC10 refuelling an F15. Whee!
Would rather see little green men or white lights, y'know?
Do unidentified odours in the flight deck count?

I’m still waiting for my white male privilege membership card. Must have gotten lost in the mail.
Re: ever seen a UFO?
I saw a meteorite pass right across the field in YHM from West to East one morning in early '00s. It got really bright then dissipated. I called the tower to ask if they saw it too, but none had. All the guys thought I was crazy when the came in to fly.

For sure they count if it'd not last night's butter chicken or a burning kx155
Re: ever seen a UFO?
The only thing that UFO's ever are.....is either a UMO(Unidentified military Aircraft) perhaps experimental or some sort of visual phenomenon. There are plenty of test pilots who have gotten a good laugh from the "UFO reports".
Re: ever seen a UFO?
Flying up Baffin island mid winter 2008.. we saw something go over above us( we were Fl230) in the BE10 at a high rate of speed.. you could actually see the trail from the afterburners... at first we wondered.. then we got a call from arctic radio.
Couple other times, but they were usually planets and other phenomenon.
