Which raises a good point... why do entertainers think any of us should care what the hell they think? They are ENTERTAINERS... they are not royalty or government and do not have claim to any greater enlightenment or wisdom than any of the rest of us. So I really wish that the Dixie Chicks, this dude, Tom Cruise, Bono and Mel Gibson would shut the hell up, keep singing, acting or whatever lame-ass other activity they get paid millions for and keep their irrelevant opinions out of the it.

So why isn't Churchill an ass for reinstating pride in a country that was under attack. All the guys who are waving flags are trying to do a service keeping the peoples minds in whats important or they forget. Popular support for the war in iraq and the war on terrorism is starting to fall because people are so short sighted that they figure yippee terrorism is no more. Just watch Toronto is gonna get something blown up then all the peace loving hippies are gonna be crying fowl. Unless they decide to hit something out west. in that case people from Toronto won't really give a s***. Remember 9-11 happened before Iraq and Afganastan. Germany didn't fight the Allies because the Allies invaded France in 1944.

If you think this war in Iraq has anything to do with combatting terrorism, or teeaarourism as bush would say, I have a bridge to sell ya. This thing is about as bogus as the "war on drugs" - geez, what a booming success that has been! Where exactly is Osama? - does he even exist or is that name simply a contrivance of the cia. Also, pray tell how did "Osama" get the U.S. air force along with NORAD to stand down on 9-11? He is quite a guy isnt he, has his tentacles everywhere - from his cave on the Pak/Afghan border - riiiight. Maybe you could tell me how he brought down WTC7 at the same time on 9-11 as he stood down the airforce (until such time as all the damage was done), that was a hell of feat as well. If you are a pilot, you have to question how it was Payne Stewart's Lear was intercepted by 2 F-16s within 20 minutes of that jet straying off course and yet after an hour had elapsed 4 heavy jets were staggering all over the busiest airspace in the world with no intercept? Think about it..War on terrorism, the biggest crock to come down the pike - ever! I look at the facts and think that some assholes crashed a plane and killed a shit load of innocent people. If the US gov't had anything to do with this do you not think it would have gotten out by now?! You really think it would be kept secret?! There is now way they could have kept this quiet.

As for NORAD standing down and letting this thing happen, I think it's BS. Sometimes you don't have people in the right place. No one had ever done this before. So they're may not have been a sense of urgency to get planes intercepting them.

As for the CIA letting it happen...sometimes the thousands of clues only become clear after the incident.

A lot of innocent people got killed in the incident and in the rescue afterwards, to spout off and hint at deep dark conspiracies is both ignorant and disrespectful to people who died that day.
