I too have been looking for these tests. The tests I came across cost money, and you cannot study for them anyway, so whats the point.
They either prove your an idiot, drug/alcohol dependant, or comming down with any number of mental ailments. I quess it would be interesting to find out before the interview if your a nutter, but it's more of a surprise that way if you wait...

Cheers.

I believe the test you are looking for is called the M.M.P.I., Otherwise known as the Minisota Multiphasic Personality Inventory.

Sorry about the spelling on the previous post.

If you try to study or practice for this type of test you will put yourself in the hurt locker big time as it is designed to catch this. Additionally, who the hell would hire someone who has to study for a personality test?

Just my two cents.

A licence to the MMPI, WAIS, TAT or any similar cognitive test costs anywhere from $20,000USD and up (and you must be a psychologist with a PhD). Typically these tests are administered as diagnostic tools for those gifted or not so gifted. You are going to have a difficult time getting your hands on these tests. If you are a normal person you should not have any problems. If you're real desperate or you're questioning your mental state consider this:

1. Contact university professors. Here's a link to UBC Psychology Faculty:

http://www.psych.ubc.ca/faculty/index.psy

2. Look at http://www.apa.org

3. Try to find the website for the National Institute for Mental Health -NIMH

You can get some info there.
