And that's what peaks my curiousity. Is it not living up to expectations? Is it a shining star? Is it just a big secret?

Plus it's irrelevant.

As is this entire conversation and all of those preceding it.

Though not fighters, the F-117 and B2 were also kept in the dark. Both for the most part, still are. The F-22 , when on display at most open houses, is generally under armed guard. I'd imagine there are many goodies they don't want their foes to acquire.
