Be awesome to live on the island but international night medevac probably takes years off your life (just like doing long-haul at AC for 20 years)
I would think/hope it would be minimum $120,000/yr for pay.

Re: ETA
My question is where are they going to put them? "live within two hours of Port Alberni" I'd be interested to see a Challenger take-off from YPB
Flying airplanes is easy, you just need to PAY ATTENTION. Finding a good job on the other hand takes experience, practice, and some serious talent.

Flew a 601 for a long while. No way they are operating international MedEvac out of the strip of pavement.
Be interesting to see how long they survive. Most MedEvac operations use the Lear 35/36 because it costs about the same as a Pilatus per hour to operate. Old challenger 600s are gonna be exponentially more expensive per hour. If they are the old discovery air machines that sat in Quebec city for 5 years, they're gonna be hangar queens with fancy paint jobs.
Left seat on that airplane should be 120 a year and right seat 60+. That is the average in YYZ for a corporate machine that does 250 hours a year. Some pay more (SkyService)
