Air Georgian CRJ Pay Scale
Hello Everyone,
I've just been offered an interview at Air Georgian for the CRJ, DE Capt.
I was offered an interview an interview a couple of years back, but turned it down due to the poor salary; does anyone know what the current pay scale is there for the CRJ? Any current information would be much appreciated, Thanks,
Fly Safe,

Re: Air Georgian CRJ Pay Scale
As mentioned many times here, there is no pay scale for the 705 operation at Georgian. The pay for Capts is $70/hr, min guarantee at 70 hrs a month.

Re: Air Georgian CRJ Pay Scale
Unless it changed you get overtime at 100 hours. 70 is the minimum guarantee.

That's pathetic. I almost made more flying a -200 6 years ago.The pay for Capts is $70/hr, min guarantee at 70 hrs a month
Re: Air Georgian CRJ Pay Scale
I make substantially more than that on the Caravan. But you'll get jet time
Re: Air Georgian CRJ Pay Scale
Less than I was making on the Caravan 4 years ago.
Thank you for the responses everyone. Decision made.

Re: Air Georgian CRJ Pay Scale
But it's "jet" time. You should be paying them to work there.

I wonder if this thread will get deleted too...
Re: Air Georgian CRJ Pay Scale
If they were offering 1000$ per year I wonder how many resumes they would get...

Who chooses to go to work at a place like this? I am sorry, but if you got the hours to go direct entry Capt, then you have other options. Not to mention, how in the fuk are you living off this shit. I honestly would not board an RJ/1900 operated by Georgian,or EVAS. Fawk that. Shitty pilots and Shitty Maint* = Accident waiting to happen.
Re: Air Georgian CRJ Pay Scale
That's a big statement to make. Shitty pilots? Really? How exactly did you come to that conclusion? Diss the company, sure. Call the people willing to fly the rj's for sub-par wages morons, sure. But to come here and say the PILOTS are all shitty? Man that's a new low. How exactly did you come to that conclusion? Some of the best pilots I know fly for those companies and I would not have any problem sending any of my family on one of their aircraft. I'm not usually one to argue with Internet annonymous tough guys but personal attacks on fellow aviators really pisses me off. I happen to be one of these "shitty pilots" of whom you speak. You should probably do some research before you open your yap. I'd put my hands, feet, and decision making skills up against anyone's, same goes for my coworkers. And I trust my wrench benders with my life. Again, mind your whore hole and show a little respect to your fellow aviators. Aviation is a pretty small world to place your ignorance up front and centre for all to see.

Play nice you guys, not everyone can be (can't be named)'s pilot who made $385,000 US driving a Challenger 604.
Working for a company that exploits the hell out of its workers should merely be a stage in most people's careers. You could be working for Home Depot for a 40 hour week making $12.00 an hour........

Re: Air Georgian CRJ Pay Scale
I don't understand why so many people are GGN haters when other operations like Jazz and SkyRegional are all doing the same thing. So are all those accepting Jazz's new low pay scales piss poor pilots, I don't think so, good and bad in every crowd.
It's getting tougher to be in this industry if you haven't already established hours and accumulated experience/seniority in an operation or if you have to switch operations, holy crap it's not going to be easy given what's going on in the 705s. I think the juniors don't have much choice but to take what they can get.

Re: Air Georgian CRJ Pay Scale
The high pay at some companies doesn't seem to help either, First Air is great example in recent years one put in to a hill, one went way off course on route to YFB, both also had major CRM issues.
