Montreal Aviation Attractions
I'm headed to Montreal tomorrow for a week. Is there anything aviation related that I should be seeing or doing while I'm there?

I hear the strippers in Montreal will do things your wife won't.
If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself

Out on the west island in St. Anne de Bellevue is the Canadian Aviation Heritage Centre. Check the hours of operation

That depends entirely on your wifeMeatservo wrote:I hear the strippers in Montreal will do things your wife won't.
That being said, she's with me this trip so I doubt we'll be visiting the far end of Ste Catherine's street.

Spend some time at the end of Boul Pitfield (just off Cote Vertu). You can park your car at the approach end of 24R and get some very close up views of some very large aircraft landing. It helps to hit it at the right time of day and with favorable winds.
After you can go down Cote Vertu and roll up to the Bombardier Global Completion Center and look at a Global in the window.
There is small aviation museum at the Macdonald Campus of McGill on the west island but check the hours before you go. Its not all that convenient.

Rent a car, get on the Autoroute, and drive north into the boondocks to pay homage to one of the great white elephants of the last Trudeau government- the Montreal Mirabel Airport.
For fun you can philosophise whether this was a great failed vision of the past, or a great vision of a failed future?

Strippers in Montreal are terrible. It's all get you into the back room. Now thirty years ago was different.I_Drive_Planes wrote:That depends entirely on your wifeMeatservo wrote:I hear the strippers in Montreal will do things your wife won't.![]()

With your wife I would go to one of the all male reviews like 821. Now they're entertaining! Even for straight guys

Women and planes have alot in common
Both are expensive, loud, and noisy.
However, when handled properly both respond well and provide great pleasure
