YEG 2nd Interviews

Hi. Is there anyone here in the Edmonton FIR that has done a second interview or that has been offered a course yet?
I'm just sitting around and getting antsy. lol

Not YEG, but also sitting around and getting antsy haha. YWG, streamed IFR... must have phone on person at all time for the next 18 months >.<

User s1yx started a YEG IFR course in November so I would assume you have missed the boat on that as there won't be another for a while. Not sure on VFR and FSS though... I would recommend emailing Joanne in Ottawa and asking what the status is of upcoming interviews or courses. She's pretty forthcoming with info and willing to help in my experience.

I believe the next YEG IFR class will be in the fall. The current VFR class is set to wrap up mid-March and they may be loading another one to run shortly thereafter.

Yes. An Edmonton FSS course is planned for early spring 2016.
I am scheduled to attend.

I emailed Joanne last week and she informed me that the next VFR training in the YEG region has been pushed back to May. I'm still holding my breath waiting by the phone.

To contradict my earlier post, I've heard there will be a Terminal basic course starting May-June.
