EVAS Air
Looks like the thread has been pulled. I heard they're looking for Captains there. Are people leaving or is the company expanding?

Re: EVAS Air
Based only on the last few EVAS threads, and a couple of acquaintances' experiences, I'd lean heavily towards A, but with a bit of B thrown in.
If at first you don't succeed, maybe NDB approaches just aren't for you
Re: EVAS Air
Too bad, there was some great truth in the previous thread!
I hope GGN is quick with the finalization of their takeover. Maybe then we won't have so many pilots leaving and we won't have to pick up the slack... Flying 12 legs a day!
Poisonous atmosphere !
Keeping your skies safe.... Is someone else's job! We keep her in sched! Hey By'

Re: EVAS Air
Considering they are now P2F, why are they allowed to advertise here. Hey you charge for the job, maybe they should pay for the job ad. Or is that why there threads are always pulled
Re: EVAS Air
I think they're a P2F scheme now due to unfortunate circumstances!
They're broke!
Selling off they're big houses
No parts in inventory
Hassle to get paid for overtime and per diem

Re: EVAS Air
This is the first I've heard of the takeover. Is this just scuttlebutt or an actual probable scenario?
Not that it affects me, but it would be interesting nonetheless.

Re: EVAS Air

Listen Meathead, you're the reason the previous thread was pulled. Do you have anything to back up your claims or are just beaking off? Some of us make our living here and would be greatly affected if the company were in fact to shut its doors. How about you do the world a favour and pull your head out of your ass.anona wrote:I think they're a P2F scheme now due to unfortunate circumstances!

And You must be clueless!anona wrote:Identifying as a skeet.....
Must be management?
Troll somewhere else. Your third/fourth/fifth hand info is irrelevant. What is relevant is awesome people like Toeless having a place to go to work each day. Can you be a better employer? Start your airline and get AC to make you a tier 3 and have at er!
Ps. In no way is this a defence of the company, it's a support of the good people who have to put up with the nonsense
Re: EVAS Air
There are lots of great guys here!
Lots of us have very few options to leave. Even with the huge flow in our industry at this moment.
But there's no question, SKEET AIR should be on the nose of our planes!!! Right by the door, where pax walk in!

Re: EVAS Air
I personally find it entertaining the ratios of views on the EVAS FO posting compared to the EVAS Capt posting. Anyone with enough experience in the industry, and knowledge of EVAS, knows not even to open the posting most likely applicable to them, the Captain.
What happened to their career progression that I have seen their employees talk about on here before? Do they not upgrade from within anymore or do they actually want someone with experience so they don't shear another nose wheel off?

Re: EVAS Air
Not a great deal of upgrades.
A lot of us get our ATPL and promptly fly the coup!
Career progression needs to have a carrot to keep pilots progressing... A terrible schedule, terrible management, terribly shotty maintenance, terrible pay, terrible atmosphere..... Sounds like a terrible tasting carrot!
We aren't all glued to NFLD!

Re: EVAS Air
Word is around the water cooler...
Big shuffle is coming!
Theory #1: growing into 705
Theory #2: melting into insolvency
The chief pilot left, for the 4th time.
The base manager left.
Both for Air Lab, whom have set up competing flights on their trunk routes!
#1 or #2 ???

I hope theory #2 isn't true for all the good folks still working there, but if theory #1 was true where would they get the planes?

that rumour has been floating around a lot lately.
Re: EVAS Air
I would to see so many good aviators get done over with the possibility of the White Holes losing they're contract with AC. But, it's almost certain!
Even their "good friends and allies" Air Lab are putting the puzzle together and solidifying themselves as a regional player in contention to pick up the slack.
They've already nabbed the two main men. And I will get you, as sure as there's shit in a cat, they'll get more!
I truly feel bad for the crews!
There a lot of top notch guys n gals driving those jaloppy 1900s!
Best wishes for them all! (All except the White Holes)

Anona, your "grasp" of the English language is simply amazing.
Your fear mongering on the other hand, now that is a thing of beauty. Keep up the great journalism, your credilibility is at an all time high.
