NEED ADVICE - INSTRUCTOR AROUND MONTREAL

Post by Saubia »

Good morning,

I finishing my CPL/ME/IFR at Ottawa and looking for a spot for instructor rating+ job in a school around Montreal. I need some advices : I have heard of some school (air Richelieu /cargair/ALM/Lachute...) but what are the real opportunities? (if you call directly all will say that you can fly a lot and it's the best school of the wold so that's why I'm looking for real comments)

Thank!

For most of the schools, they hire their newly trained instructors, so it is a good idea to put your money in a place that will give you a job.

Cargair in St-Hubert, you can make decent money if you are teaching for the Chinese contract, if it is still there. Give a try to Cargair in Mascouche, it can be a fun place.
ALM is decent as well, don't know the pay.
Air Richelieu, they are very expensive, last information I had, instructor pay was like 13$-15$/hour and there was 5 instructors for one student.

Chineese contracts are still there, not in mascouche, CYHU and CYRC. Instructors are busy.
