That was exactly what I thought watching the show. From what I hear from others who had met him, it's pretty accurate. Very sad.

There's a dash-cam video on YouTube that captured the crash. Not close enough to get a lot of detail, but it's reasonably clear.

Met him / helped him last year while working the hot ramp at the ybw airshow - nicest guy you'd ever want to meet - friendly, courteous, great sense of humor - instantly likable. So sad to hear about this yesterday - my deepest condolences to his family and friends - such a loss.

Marcus based himself out of my hangar the 2 summers ago while doing the Western Canada airshow circuit with Carol. He was very down to earth and a real class act.
