Wrong on both counts. Planes and Planes, Fire Rescue. Those are the best aviation movies. However the airplane sequence in Madagascar 2 was pretty choice as well.

Sully is a good MOVIE. If it were made strictly in a documentary style it would've only been fit for the history channel and with that of course......."I'm not saying it was aliens. But it was aliens" would have something to do with it.
Lighten up and watch the flick if you have a few minutes to burn and a desire to stuff your yap with popcorn.
The best part was after making sure the sinking plane was fully evacuated he went and got the journey log. Or was that supposed to be the passenger manifest? Anyways, I really liked it. The only real let down was the CGI sequence of the impact with the water which seemed a bit steep and violent for any aircraft to survive.
Any reason they would opt to continue with only flaps 2 and not full flaps for ditching? Would full flap cause a violent nose down movement when the water hit them?
