Air Canada schedules mainline on YYZ-YQG

AC website says they have 2 A319s going from YYZ-YQG on December 12.
Jazz has always operated a Q400 or Dash 8-100 on this route before. It seems AC is doing the route for one day only.
Any idea what AC is trying to do in Windsor?

Are there a seasonal vacation destinations departing YQG shortly after these arrivals? It would make sense to try to sell seats on the YYZ - YQG leg instead of just positioning.

These flights appear to turn around in YQG and return to YYZ. I suspect additional capacity for the FINA World Swimming Championships.
I understand they are converting (temporary) the WFCU Center into a 25m pool etc. Pretty big deal most hotel rooms in Windsor/Detroit
booked up for the event.
