My EK sources told me that a huge swath of Qantas Link pilots are currently heading over to EK for their B777 type ratings... funny how the grass is always greener on the other side!

Ok could you provide some info about it? I.e. Are you living in Australia or commuting from somewhere? Did you quit Jazz to go there or take a LOA ? Did you get DEC or FO? How long is the posting? Did they validate your Canadian license or did you have to do the full Australian license? Pay/benefits? Family friendly? Potential for career progression at the carrier? Are you enjoying it/recommend it?
