As is apparent, a great BC aviation company is insolvent, and is now gone forever. RIP Hawkair.
For those with financial interest with the bankruptcy of Hawkair (esp. employees with unpaid wages), ensure you attend the creditors meeting on the 12th of December.
It is very likely that no one will be able to recoup any of the funds that are owed, but, it is worth the effort. If you don't, there isn't even a chance.

On another note, I hope that the aviation community realizes that the two J's (J.L & J.D) should be recognized as industry failures. Shame to both for spending company funds to enhance their own careers while their company failed. Unfortunately, this was the status quo.
Canada's aviation community is strong! Good luck everyone. Much Love.
Goodbye Hawkair

Directors of the company are responsible for unpaid wages if the business cannot pay.

Women and planes have alot in common
Both are expensive, loud, and noisy.
However, when handled properly both respond well and provide great pleasure
