Hi there,
My question is not directly related to flight training but I couldn't find a better place for it in the forum.
I'm looking for immigrants feedback. My question is the following:
I will soon start my PR through express entry. I was wondering how CIC was looking at pilot licences for studies. I did all my training in Canada, from PPL to CPL/IR/ME/Instrucror. It was all through private flight school/club and not a college program or degree.
I can't seem to find answers as if they would even consider that as post secondary, and if they did so what kind of post secondary.
Thank you for your help!

Re: Flight training - Permanent resident
I am here on a work permit and am taking lessons for PPL. Looking at the link below, it doesn't appear there are any separate requirements for a citizen vs. noncitizen.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

As far as CIC is concerned, what you're doing is post secondary education. I'm not sure if there's different types of post secondary education. All I remember is putting my flight training under post secondary during my PR application, don't remember much else.
