Pay retroactive to Jan 1, 2025.

Scope clause. Merger clause.
Sounds like it won’t be retroactive for pay purposes. It’ll just start in Jan 1st, 2025

"Regardless of the work rule package the pilot team chooses, the compensation elements are the same and the new compensation package will take effect and will be retractive to January 1st, 2025"

Sounds to me like the new pay won't take effect until the voting is complete and the package is implemented but will then be retroed to Jan 1.

But here's hoping you're right.
You may be right. lol. But this is the email that I’m reading :

Key Dates to Remember:

Roadshows: Week of January 6, 2025
Voting Period: Opens Friday, January 10, 2025, and closes Monday, January 20, 2025.
Please note that regardless of the agreement package selected, all compensation policy changes will take effect on January 1, 2025.

That does sound pretty cut and dry. But he specifically mentioned "retroactive" and I don't know how you retroactively apply REA or commuting rules to an event that has already happened so that leads me to believe he's referring to pay.

I guess we'll see!

Are they not separate companies with a separate AOC?
you know that PAL and Air Borealis share the same union right despite being separate companies with separate AOCs.
You know, if I fu ckn knew that, I wouldn’t have said what I said and for fu ck sakes I already conceded with AC/Rouge!
I know, reading is hard but try it, go back a few posts and see what’s transpired already before posting stupid shit!
What's the rumour for those affected but not anymore on the property

If you read the sentence, key words are “compensation policy changes”, unless there is some compensation(monetary) associated with the commuting policy changes, there would not be anything to apply retroactively.

Nothing specific, someone on here did mention a 200k figure, not sure if that was speculation or something they had heard.
