I don't know, but they already hired for the next ground school in February.

I asked in the interview, they said that there would be 2 ground schools in Feb and one in March, approx 10 folks each.

Offers have gone out, as have PFO's - So no news is good news if you haven't heard.

Nothing yet. But everyone keeps saying no news is good news. Something would be good though. Waiting less and less patiently each day. I keep watching this forum to see if anyone has heard anything.

They'll let other candidates know either way in the next two weeks. Be patient, there are at least two more ground schools in the near future.

PFO's have been issued and internal references checked. External references were checked this week for some that were hired 3 months ago.

Just as an update,

First GS for this year is filled, there will be two more for sure and likely a fourth. Offers are being sent now for the second GS and Most (not all) PFO's have been sent out. Priority is being given to Direct Entry Cpt's and people with high time and multi turbine PIC.

If you haven't heard anything, that truly can be considered good news but please don't take my word as gospel on that. It is a competitive process so some can still be left without a training spot when the music stops. That being said, don't think that this is the end of hiring at Porter, expansion will continue as will attrition.

It should be noted that the best chance of getting on at Porter is through internal recommendations, best of luck to you all, its a top shelf place to work!

Interviewed mid november offer came december 24th for feb g/s. So about 1 month timeline but may be different for others. Good luck to all who applied.

Interviewed beginning of December for a First Officer position. Have not heard anything as of yet. Wondering if there's anyone else on here that interviewed around the same time as I did and, if so, have you heard anything?

Dont forget the one on Feb 22nd as well, Although offers for that course may have started to go out, it hasnt been filled yet officially.

2 in Feb (one already filled)
1 in March
1 in April

Received the offer on Jan. 13th for Feb 22nd ground school. Interviewed Nov 24th. Good bye cruel northern wind, so long frostbite, foul black flies and mosquitos you shall be a distant memory.
