Hey, jspitfire, I think I saw some of your shots on airliners.net. Are you posting there as well? Man, you're good with the camera!

Into the blue, yes I do put a lot of photos on airliners.net, but you'll see a lot of them here first!

Shorts probably weren't the best choice for that December day, but at least I got one without shivering it all to hell. :lol:

For raven54....some shots with the Tamron 10-24 (and no filter.) You can see the need for a polarizer when the sun is out.

Great pics guys, I love checking this thread.

Question - is there a size limit on pics? I hate having to scroll to see the whole picture and it takes away from viewing the pics in full as intended.

No, but not everyone knows how to resize their images down to a manageable size.

True but its pretty simple really, first ask, then try it. You can even use the free, and OS included, MS Paint.

For those that want to know (Win7);

- Right click on the picture you want to resize,
- Select 'Open with...' and choose 'Paint',
- Now the picture is open in Paint, near the top left you'll find 'Resize' - select it, choose the size you want, a max of 1024 px wide seems good, then save (or save copy of to save the original). You can check the size of the picture, even before resizing, on the bottom status bar (px=pixel).

Other Windows versions are slightly different but similar - play with it.

Most forums have limits on file sizes both pixel and bits.

Well... here's some with the new D5000. Still fiddling with settings and such and no editing at all...

Rowdy, is that Revelstoke? Never been there but the perameters and the look of it remind me of an alternate I flight planned for one time. I think it was CYRV.
