Too friggin' old at 73
Too many retirements: Air Force ATC, Flying Club management, Transport ATC, Nav Canada ATC, Flyning Instructor,
Over 4000 hours in 87 different types from dual in the Goodyear blimp to the CF-104D, and enjoyed every minute of it.
Age: 64, 20,456 hrs. 17,690 multi engine command. Typed on DC-3, DC-4, DC-8, DC10, B-7372, B-7373, B-707-320C, B-747/1/2/3/SP, B-744/744F, CV-440, A-310, LR-60, LR-35, HS-125/800/XP. Currently driving HS-125/800. ATLP licenses held, Canada, FAA, Japan, Singapore, Cambodia, Korea, Iceland, Hong Kong. I would not want the young guys to end up like me. Try to find something else that can satisfy for when the day comes that you can no longer strap an airplane on your ass. I think that, at the end, it's not for the money but for the mission. Enjoy the ride. I do.
14 months, 18 days on the ramp doing anything and everything. Then F/O on Twin Otters and King Airs, onto the C-185 (Who knew you could have so much fun smashing bugs!!), then ATR-42 F/O.
Been wrenching 10 years on small turboprops and assorted GA a/c.
I still love the north and cann't wait to finish up with flight school and head north again.

All my experience is practical.... only the college/university of life
Currently in my 12th yr as an Aerospace Projects Coordinator for a major Jet Engine Manufacturer.
Currently flying a variety of vintage a/c for a private collector ( not
a museum).
