Look on the bright side... when you drop it, at least you don't have a tail rotor buzzing around back there to collect it and really ruin your day!

RUDDDDDEEERRRRRBUGGGGGGG!!! Where you at brother? That looks very very familiar...
I'm east and then northbound again on monday or tuesday. Should have some more shots up soon. Doubt anyone wants to see all the automobiles I've been shooting this week or the now happily married women. Who knew you could make money doing this?!?!

ROOOOWWWWWWWDYYYYYY!!!
I am based in CYFJ and have lots of time for you. If I am along your path, try to take a couple days off around. We're 10 min from the airport. Would be nice to see you while we still recognize each other!

Nice shot of the business end IK. What's that little round thingy right above the lower prop blade, looks like it might be attached to the accessories cowling? Is that a venturi of some sort?

Thanks IK, I'd never seen that before. The owner obviously didn't trust vacuum pumps 100%.

It looks like a 9 inch venturi tube indeed. I have never seen one on a Beaver but it's a good idea.

I just shoot with a 7.1MP Fuji Finepix S700 I've had for about 5 or 6 years. It has x10 optical zoom, and I find I need something with more reach, particularly when doing air to air shots. It's also slow to process pictures and I miss a ton of action shots. Maybe one day (when I stop making pilot wages
) I can step it up and shoot with the big boys and their DSLR's.

Busted. That was most likely me. I was driving the Super Cub that was parked out there for a while. Here's a shot of one of our Ag-Cats when we did the approach.
I think out of all of my pictures, this is my favorite shot.
