heard a rumor that the whole Nov 1 class is "college kids".... I know for a fact that atleast some of them are. I dont know why some are saying its "not happening", because it is forsure!

Yep according to the Ottawa Flying Club website they have a 2009 grad from Algonquin with a course date. What the hell? I thought we weren't doing this anymore.

Well, no more room in this fall's Ground Schools.

I made it to the candidate pool, sim done, medical done, references checked, having been told about the nov 15 GS, but then I got an infamous human ressources email telling me: next time (we don't know when).

Back to the king air, I guess.

Hang in there!! It took me (and alot of others like me) a long time to finally make the jump to the airlines. (10 yrs to get to Jazz and another 8 to get to AC) My advice is to go to work everyday with a smile on your face, learn everything you can and above all have fun doing what you are doing!! It may take a while but it will be worth it in the end. I made life long friends while flying the "King Air" and wouldn't trade that time for anything!!

I love my job. It's in CYHU, a place that I enjoy. The people I work with are great. The experience I get is fantastic (Multi-Pic turbine, plus we fly almost everywhere due to our central position in Montreal.) I get to fly almost every day in all kinds of weather. My attitude won't change.

The thing is, I was expecting something and then it was taken away, for now. I am just a bit dissapointed.

xander, not to beat you down but,

I had good friends of mine that went through everything and told the same thing as well, only to recieve the PFO. Get exited yes, however don't think that you have the job until called, as this will leave you to a life time of misery.

I'm still waiting for the call from Shania Twain in the french alps, but the dumb beotch won't return my call. Ah well I guess my fair lady in Pikagikum will do.
