If I have to look at one more floater bobbing around in the .... lol
This is one from up high, shot it way over-exposed for fun, just to see what it would end up processing like. Back at work Saturday, hoping to get a few shots if the weather in nice next week.

Do you want to see my pics from some of the northern airports, I have been to, with the can of beef stew in the back of the Turbine, or the gourmet Chocolate Bars.zigzag66 wrote:I'm still a student in aviation but those pics are great(y) I was thinking about Bush after school and this is reenforcing my decision.
I have been to some places that just were not in the Cessna Pilot Brochure, when I was getting hooked on Aviation.

My favorite day last summer. The ice had finally cleared the day before, still a couple snowbergs floating around in the distance.

Playing with Lightroom. Albeit too much, but I'm having fun nonetheless.

I really like the angle / colour contrast in the first pic you posted! Really neat.Adam Oke wrote:Playing with Lightroom. Albeit too much, but I'm having fun nonetheless.

Sorry for the size of the pictures, I'm barely able to fly a computer, never-mind a plane

Nice pics onceacop. The seaplane base is right off the end of the runway there, isn't it? Always wondered why the ident was KELO instead of ELY.

Re: Pix From a Swamper - Remembering Craig Chenell
Nice, I fly a Beaver in and out of the same bay as the US forrest service. I believe it is a little ways away from the airport (I call it Leustek bay). They fly around 3 beautiful shiny beavers, while I fly a well used workhorse.

Is the tank on the bottom for retardant/water or fuel?
