Everybody understands the Clinton flaws. What people don't seem to consider, or are inexplicably willing to forgive, are Trump's:

Bigotry
Mysogeny
Sexism
The fact he employed illegal labour - including his wife
The fact he stiffed those labourers out of wages - because he could.
The fact he boasts about sexually assaulting women
The fact many women have come forward to confirm his boasts
The fact he liked to walk in on naked teenaged girls at pageants. And boasts about it
Frequented parties hosted by a convicted pedophile
Was accused of rape by a 13 year old girl at the same parties
Defrauded thousands with his Trump University con
Stiffed on a regular basis contractor who made the mistake of trusting him (pay attention voters)
His total disdain for truth even when it makes him, and now all Americans, look embarrassingly stupid. There are just too many examples to list here, but I'm sure you can think of them all yourself.

And as if his repugnant character weren't enough, how about his glaringly obvious incompetence to shoulder the massive responsibility of President, a job he only pursued to get revenge on Obama for in the first place - and never expected to get.

Compared to Clinton? You people are mad.

The thing is, nobody can seem to come up with a concrete case of her corruption. Lots of people mention wikileaks, but nothing really damning was found there. The email server was just her trying to do her job better, so not exactly "corruption" in any sense. The Benghazi incident wasn't caused by her "corruption" or "treason".

The worst people can come up with is the fact that she accepted donations from people who stood to benefit from her policies (but, crucially, no proof that her policies changed because of donations). It's unprovable whether or not she is corrupt, and the only solution is to ban donations and advertising. Still, not a very good reason to vote for Trump (known racist and anti-science) vs Clinton (speculation that she might be corrupt).

I do find it strange that a lot of pilots seem to have difficulty separation fact from speculation. On the other hand, there's so much BS believed by many pilots (FTUisms come to mind) that perhaps it shouldn't be surprising at all.

Hi Rockie,

While I wouldn't have voted for Trump because of his character, you have to admit, he has some great ideas. All those green policies are going to disappear as we cannot control the sun and its effect on the earth. I expect that my pipeline stocks will go up soon. And it will be nice to finally do something serious about the porous border down south that the left used as a way to get more voters into the country. And finally somebody is not afraid to use the term terrorism in the name of islam(well, the terrorists are not afraid of stating this).

People are sick of being called a racist for stating the truth. It is the only explanation I have for why so many voted for Trump. Because of groups, media outlets, politicians who tried to get or stay on power on a platform of white people automatically have "privilege" so laws can be passed to discriminate against them. People voted against the new left world of micro-aggressions and being labelled a racist to say that ALL LIVES MATTER. Or saying that most mass terrorism has to do with islam, etc.

So while I was surprised to see Trump win and as a conservative, have some concerns based on his personality....I really am enjoying the cry-in sessions that I have been seeing.

The media still hasn't figured it out yet that people like you and themselves got Trump into power. Now we hear about Nazis and hate crimes and whitelash.
