That is a good video. I wonder why they cleared an airstrip but did not cut down the tree at the end of it. Does the terrain rise too much or something to make it not worth the bother?

That's what I suspected for the USFS Twin Otter, but then the North Cariboo one landing at Prairie Creek mine had a door off as well and smokejumpers from that plane in that location seems less likely.
