You are showing just how smart you really are! There is alot more to flying than programming an FMS. The means by which a flight control is manipulated may have changed over the years but basic decision making and experience has remained fundamental.bizjet_mania wrote:Well in Asia and Europe its usually the old timer sitting in the left seat teaching the low timer in the right seat. With technolgy advancing so fast, its now the guy in the right seat teaching the old timer how to program an FMC. I taught a SkyService A320 pilot fresh out of the course how to select and initiate an alternate in the FMS and Ive never been in contact with a real Airbus FMS. Kids these days are smarter, better then the old guys..sorry to say.![]()
That is great that you know what buttons to push, but what experience do you have to offer the "old timer" I seem to remember that you were sitting in a geography class when 911 happened. Saying that kids these days are better than the old guys, is a pretty arrogant claim, to say the least.
I'll bet . Yeager has a hard time working all the features in his cell phone, so I guess you young guys are better than him too...? You do know who . Yeager is right?
