My apologies for contributing to the hijacking of the thread. Further to this, I do not condone or support racism but I wanted to point out to that "arsehole" Altiplano that the original comments by Flightlevels were made in jest and that there was no malicious racial intent.

Unfortunately, Altiplano did not get the point but embarked on an exercise to exhibit his own amazingly racially derogatory vocabulary and then he tried to insult me personally by using the wrong wording. The words he used were designed to insult Afrikaans speaking South Africans and not us Anglo English settlers....water off a ducks back! The misguided fool!

Furthermore, please also accept my humblest apologies on behalf of the uncultured Altiplano for splattering the China Airlines thread with his discursive profanity which I unfortunately provoked. He is just a nasty guy with a lot of anger probably suffering from DSB, is unloved and has not a good shag or a decent handjob for a long time.

I don't know, noodling around in a Beech in the frozen north for bags of peanuts and no pension, or a couple of years in a Boeing in exotic locations? I don't believe that Taiwan is a dangerous place to live, unless the risk of being invaded by the PRC bothers you. Seems to me that if anyone is interested in 'queue jumping,' this is the ticket.

Licensing is just a bureaucratic issue, unless we're talking JAA - you would only have to do a recurrent course and a ride and you would be endorsed on your TC/FAA license...some companies do that in-house.

I am aware of the dangers existing in SA and the extensive level of violent crime. It's a shame for such a beautiful region to have so many problems. But these problems do not justify going back to the previous status quo.

There is no more staus quo, it is long gone and you are not aware of the dangers existing in SA. You are not even remotely qualified to make a statement of that nature.

You have successfully given us a rendition of the contents of the "Apartheid" constitution....to what effect, I fail to understand. It is impressive as you are clearly a www surfer of note. You have managed to dredge up seperatist policy making which at the time was considered a solution to "calming the black uneducated hordes of Africa". This is clearly an outdated and politically incorrect approach which the white people of South Africa effectively changed.

You are so gullible and naive to actually think that what you put into the cut and past was the "norm" for a pre-democratic South Africa. You are just as misguided as the rest of the "First World" was at the time.

The 1992 Referendum vote deserves mention. A 90% + of the white population group including myself voted for an end of discriminatory racial segregation in South Africa. We voted for the release of Mandela from the Victor Verster Prison. As white South Africans, we were tired of waging a war against "liberating terrorists" blowing up our schools, supermarket malls and churches. We were tired of international political and social and sport isolation. We were tired of sanctions and the scientific progress denied us by the international community. We wanted to bond with our black brothers and get on with our lives!

All this we did in the name of peace. We were a white minority albeit a powerfull one. Without the political changes we would have still kept spinning our wheels in vain. Apartheid (which means seperate development) was abolished pre 1992 anyway so it was more an issue of majority rule as opposed to racial discrimination and segregation. We were ultimately forced into a hand over of power TO APPEASE THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY and to release the pressure being forced upon us to implement majority rule by a nation of black Africans NOT YET ready for the task at hand. President FW De Klerk, the last white SA president envisaged a progressive release on the white majority rule with a steady a progressive educational integration of the black majority into all the facets of proper and correct governance which would guarantee a steady transition to the benefit of all South Africans.

What I mentioned above is what we strived for and what we were part of.
The international community in the form of the G5, UN, NATO, SADEC, OAU, EU, OPEC, the USA, Canada, Nordic Countries, Europe and the UK pushed and forced this process (by sanction) to the extent that they rushed the South African government into implementing a very dangerous and accelerated reform programme which ultimately took place to the detriment of the "black majority" and culminated in a political fervour called the Mandela Renaissance and the change of government in 1994.

Nelson Mandela and FW De Klerk did an amazing job at controlling the radical elements on both sides of the political spectrum. At the time , I was a senior intelligence officer and we were tasked to monitor the National Defence Force and Police and certain top Generals just to make sure that there were no coup plans that got to implementation stage. Mandela is still alive because he was protected by people like myself. People that had had enough abuse as a result of the misguided policies of our forefathers. The only guy we sadly failed to protect from the entire ANC hirearchy was Chris Hani, who was assasinated outside his home one quiet Sunday morning by white radicals. Other than that, I think we did a damn fine job in protecting the democratic right of EVERY South African irrespective of his colour or creed during some very difficult times.

Despite what Nelson Mandela tried to achieve with regard to a peacefull transition to black majority rule, the radical elements were ever present. Winnie Mandela (former wife to Nelson) was hovering in the left wing elements of the ANC and the ANC Youth League. She also promoted the SA Communist Party and the Womens League. All these were left wing hate spewing organisation aimed at the EXTERMINATION of the white South African. Winnie Mandela and a chap by the name of Peter Mokaba promoted a slogan calling for "One Bullet, one farmer"...."One bullet, one white". Winnie started to organise black hit squads to target white business owners, innocent farmers and even black school kids in Soweto who saw through her evil. She disguised her hit squad as a "soccer team".

The security forces put an end to her charade by accumulating highly discriminating evidence against her. She was put to trial for murder, torture, kidnapping and indecent assault. She was never convicted.

A chap by the name of Billy Masetla ordered her immediate "disposal" and the orders were passed down to me. Before the action was implemented, Nelson Mandela himself intervened and put a stop to the insanity by preventing her removal and by divorcing her with immediate effect. My ANC bosses passed on a "stop order" to my team. She was "cropped" and "groomed" by the ANC top order and ever since, has tried her best to be a responsible citizen.

Now SA starts the downhill spiral.

Mandela was largely a figurehead and the actual day to day running of the "new" South Africa fell to the rest of the ANC cabinet which embarked on a programme of "Black empowerment", "restitution" and a very effective policy of "reverse racism". This was of course effectively hidden from international scrutiny but manifested itself in all aspects of the civil service as a start and up until now, has manifested itself deep into society. This became more emphasized when Mandela left the scene and Thabo Mbeki stepped in as the Head of State. Madiba personally told me that the only regret he has and the biggest mistake he made in his post prison life, was to appoint Mbeki as his successor!

Mbeki is a brain dead racist biggot acting at the beck and call of the radical elements of the ruling ANC. Who is pulling his strings....Winnie Mandela and her left wing maniacs. The following policies are examples of their madness uncovered by our intelligence agencies:

1. Anti-white insurrection targeting isolated farmers and their families. These white farmers are still being murdered on their isolated farms by roving bands of thugs. When caught or shot, who do they call allegience to...the left wing ANC!

2. Instigating tribal clans to lay claim to white owned land in order to force their evacuation after review by the Constituitonal Court.

3. A mass increase in organised crime targeting cash in transit, white gated communities (I forgot to tell you that by now, most whites and those blacks that can afford it, live in gated high security suberbs), influential black communities, white owned businesses, vehicle hijackings (you get shot for your cell phone on a highway) and the elderly. All this is in an attempt to manifest an ungovernable situation with the left wing ANC and SA Communist Party will use to discredit the current government.

These are just 3 examples of the new democratic governance under the nice fresh majority government only 11 years old. In this short time, South Africa has fallen to the levels of third world Africa.

I don't have an axe to grind either way but I would hate for you to waste a good invective and I would, with respect, ask you to clarify your position. If I understand correctly, you began by telling us how, after Mandela, S.A has seriously deteriorated under black rule; Altiplano commented virtually the same thing and you are severely cheesed off - you seem to contradict yourself?

I told Altiplano to lighten up on hammering Flightlevels by calling racism when a word was used in jest.

Altiplano chose to outline the apartheid past in SA and that is where we started going off track.

I tried to how him that I was not part of the former problem but was part of the new beginning and a possible solution. I also showed that what was done by Mandela and the majority of the whites in the country to secure that future and a peaceful transition is now being undone by the likes of Mbeki and his corrupt cronies. I also pointed out that SA is in a backslide and will over time degenerate into what other 3rd African neighbouring countries have become. In a nutshell, I am very anti the current leadership in SA.

Lastly, I was not contradicting myself. Read into the sarcasm with regard to the comments you interpreted as contradiction.

My apologies on behalf of both of us for printing "offensive" words which unfortunately are used in most cases in a racially discriminating manner.
