That’s easy. Think back to the last 10 times you saw a doctor, not including your av-med. You describe a symptom, and instead of investigating a cause and subsequent treatment, the prescribe a painkiller and/or antibiotics from a pharmaceutical company and give you 10-14 days to “heal”. Most, errr, many ailments could be mitigated by changes in lifestyle, diet, exercise and perhaps natural supplements (I say perhaps because I’m still looking at those with a skeptical eye.).

For emotional pain, many end up going to the other drug dealers. Many sources of this pain is brought on by the sins of others.

Both would be mitigated if we’d stop bashing each other physically and emotionally, and start taking care of each other as we would ourselves. Yet even in this forum, few can’t resist the temptation to do to others harm.

You don’t walk into a specialist in Canada. You go to your family physician/walk in clinic then get referred to a specialist. I don’t think I’ve been to a physician 10 times in the last 20 yrs.

If you want natural healing go to a naturopath.

Mental health you’ll need a referral to a psychiatrist.

Saying these people hand out controlled substances without clinical assessment is nonsense. Maybe you’ve been doing to much research whilst seated on porcelain? Google is not a medical degree. Dr’s don’t get kickbacks from prescribing meds.

You can’t claim the moral high ground whilst calling trained professionals drug dealing clueless sheep.
