Re: Canada Jetlines
150K offering, that’s chump change and a 1M loan doesn’t go very far in aircraft acquisition so I can’t see this airline going anywhere soon.
Re: Canada Jetlines
The 150K is most likely just for the aircraft parking fees at YYZ. Thing never moves.

Re: Canada Jetlines
They’re a far cry from having 15 aircraft operating by the end of ‘23
Re: Canada Jetlines
One Airbus 320 doing two trips per week YYZ-YYC. They want another airplane to do two trips per week YYZ-YVR?
That has got to be the lowest utilization Airbus 320 in the world!

CEO Mrs. Brigitte Goersch
Where have I seen that name before?
This industry is incestuous.

Seems she's chair of the board. Even stranger is that Jean Charest is on their board? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Looks like they're hiring. If nothing else, it seems they have the work/life balance thing sorted out.

And then some. It’s disturbing how small a group of people run this industry

That’s a great questionApestogetherstrong wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 3:41 pm What is the FO and Cpt salary. What are the schedules like?
Re: Canada Jetlines
As far as Canadian Aviation goes, they by FAR have the best work life balance. I mean who wouldn't want 5 days a week off, work two and be home at night. Might not be able to feed your kids, but at least you'll be with them each night.Apestogetherstrong wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 3:41 pm What is the FO and Cpt salary. What are the schedules like?

Might not be able to feed your kids. Watch them fight over bread. Jk but Canadian aviation is cheap. Pilots have accepted low standards for way too long.flyinhigh wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 5:44 amAs far as Canadian Aviation goes, they by FAR have the best work life balance. Re: Canada Jetlines
Was browsing flightradar24 today and noticed their sole plane is operating flights on behalf of sunwing for the last couple days...

Re: Canada Jetlines
Sounds like they’re actually picking up some extra scheds, subbed in for sunwing from what I’ve heard?Apestogetherstrong wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 9:21 amMight not be able to feed your kids.
