Sure looks a lot like Holland with all those windmills and the flat terrain.

Maybe Amsterdam?

And wearing gloves to fly is as bad as wearing gloves for foreplay, no real tactile sensation...

What a bunch of "puds".

WWG?

*exclude istp, I know he is a "real" pilot.
Why yes I do fly and did fly the "8" and I didn't think my comments were of the "bitch" variety.

While there are a lot of inexperienced pilots on these forums, there are also a lot of vintage pilots. I believe most are "real", it is just their opinions that vary.

What is the point of a forum if everyone with a differing opinion from yours is a "Pud"? :?

to try to pull this thread a little back on course, does anyone here think this might be shot going into Git? I believe the approach into the prevailing tradewinds requires a tight, low turn onto final to avoid overflying Cuban airspace so they can't shoot at you.

He sure is happy.. was readin about the poor dude a bit. He's endured a lot to get where he is and most of his crews think he's an absolute riot of a time.

I'm not sure I'd be that freakin happy after the ordeal of an accident and recovery he had.

My pappy used to fly the greasy 8 as a freighter.. most of the crews loved that beast of a machine. Word was a couple of the captains he was with would also wear goofy lookn gloves

Where'd who go? : I bet you sat sideways in the 8!

Brought back a lot of memories, especially the "blue juice shitter"! Reminds me of a few skippers that I flew with.

Obnoxious, maybe, but that's just the hypoxia kicking in. You know those old birds don't pressurize as well as they used to.
