I need another option, closest was 4 shots but I actually had 5 and 2 mild cases of Covid, first was early on after 1 shot and basically I’ve had colds that lasted longer with worse symptoms.
The second time with Covid was more recent and over a year from my last shot, I had a very high fever for about two days and then recovered fairly quickly after that. I cannot say with certainty that my second case of Covid was worse because I hadn’t had another shot but it’s sure is a coincidence don’t you think.
My mother-in-law has had every shot that was available, she has not had Covid or a cold or anything resembling an illness since the beginning, she’s in her eighties and lives in a 60+ residential building and life is pretty much normal for them. Not a single one had an adverse reaction, is this evidence, surely it’s some form of proof that it works.

You got 5 covid vaccines and got covid twice.

You can't make this stuff up...

Hell, you could pay a bunch of Hollywood writers millions to come up with the most ludicrous plot imaginable and it would still have nothing on reality.

As usual the idiots have lost the plot, I got a really, really minor version of it between my first and second shot when the hospitals were inundated with dying people on ventilators.
Then I went over two years without getting Covid after getting 4 more shots, when I decided that I was ok to not, as I have in the past with a flu shot, I ended up getting Covid again. This time it had been over a year since my last needle and this Covid was worse, I had a fever of 104 even though I was loading up on acetaminophen.
In a few months if Covid hasn’t started to dye down, I’ll go and get another to boost my immunity, this novel virus has managed to fool our immune system to the point where after a short timeframe, comparably to other past viruses, it can reinfect you.
In all honesty, I blame you antivax idiots for it dragging on as long as it has!

You forgot the part that he got sick and got better without any medical intervention required. So the vaccine worked. Sadly I know one person who went down the anti—vaxer conspiracy theory rabbit hole. He proudly declared we were all fools for getting the shot and he was the smart one. He got COVID, got sick enough to go to the ER, then the ICU and then the morgue. What a waste to die from a preventable disease.

Sadly, it happens all the time. COVID is just another of the numerous conditions, diseases, or syndromes, that people have decided to "make a stand" about. What annoys me, is the massive waste of medical resources that went into attempting to save those people whom were too ignorant to take the very simple steps to protect themselves - and the toll it took on the medical personnel involved, from the paramedics to the nurses, doctors, and specialists, to the family and friends left behind.

It's not unlike the vast sums of money that go into attempting to, as well as saving (albeit often rather briefly), the lives of gang bangers whom end up shot/stabbed, etc., and end up getting the absolute best care available - often to the detriment of those whom are bumped down on the acuity list at the hospital. In a public system, it is rather difficult to swallow the fact that "we" are paying for the care of those whom have chosen a lifestyle that more often than not results in their being grievously injured...

As an aside, why is it that while the majority of the population has moved on from COVID and is trying our best to live our lives to the best of our abilities... and yet the anti-vaxxers, the anti-government, the theocratic authoritarians and libertarians, and the COVID denying wing nuts; are still beating this dead horse? Get over it already, you were wrong and ignorant and bought into the idiotic conspiracy bullshit that was peddled by a bunch of money grubbing charlatans whom made off like bandits from selling their snake oil and tinctures to the gullible fringe minority that was ripe for the picking.

Its wild that despite the fact that about 80% of the population has refused to take anymore shots, and that everyone who took any shot still got covid, proving they didn't work as advertised, that you still think you were right. Its mind boggling. Like I said, I couldn't make it up.

If you are still getting shots, YOU are actually in the minority.

Not sure what kind of weird logic you're using there. Latest XBB.1.5 vaccine is about 50% effective at reducing hospitalisation, or about 70% in older patients. It doesn't stop you getting covid, but I'm quite happy with a 50% reduction in hospitalisation.

The polling above goes against your assertion.

There are 3 separate issues:

1) Yes there was a respiratory disease similar to a cold/flu. Yes it hit people a little harder. Yes many people are vitamin/mineral deficient which in most cases let them to experience longer and more symptomatic disease. The origins of this synthetic virus is still being covered up, but there are those have documented the paper trail to suggest it was a military/pharmaceutical collaboration. Yes it's synthetic because biologists have found that it couldn't have appeared in nature on a normal time scale.

2) The testing is flawed. The inventor of the test was explaining this before his death. Health authorities have finally started admitting this and have begun to cease its use.

3) The fear created using the above was used to coherse the public and government to mandate an experimental gene therapy drug that had no long term testing and what testing was done failed in the lab and on phase 1 and 2 trials. The billions of doses manufactured in a short time led to major quality control issues and inconsistent concentrations. The administration of these doses what performed by substandard qualified individuals.

The polling above does not agree with you.

Might be time to stop using the internet unless you're supervised by someone with more than your high school science class education. You're clearly unhinged and struggling to try to understand even the most basic concepts of biological science.

Just a note on "long covid". This term existed prior to a single covid vaccine coming out. Here's a study from the Lancet with all subjects having covid prior to June 2020. 6 months before any vaccine was rolled out.
Sometimes facts get in the way of your narrative.

You DO understand that the Lancet is a biased collaborative organizing? Many of the initial articles you would have loved got retracted because of the data had been manipulated.

SO only 2 days into this unscientific poll, a preliminary conservative analysis so far seems to indicate as much as 17% more or less have been affected directly or indirectly from the gene therapy experimental drug. Them odds ain't worth the risk for many as . This is for information purposes only.

I'm using the logic that our government agencies and the pharma industry plastered in our faces claiming that the vaccines stopped transmission and infection. It turned out to be complete BS. You can slice it any which way you'd like. If you are claiming they never said that you are only fooling yourself you certainly aren't fooling me. They also used that claim of effectiveness to justify the mandates and firing people if they didn't take the shots. The safety of others they said.

Deny it all you want. The shots didn't work as advertised. Thats a basic fact that even the MRNA supporters I know even acknowledge. You keep believing what you want though.

I'm also really not sure why you feel the need to call me an anti vaxxer for pointing out that a vaccine didn't work as advertised. I've also had about 20 vaccines in my life, if that makes me an anti vaxxer then you should acknowledge that you also are, for not taking the 8th covid shot. That seems to be the way people go nowadays though... if you don't agree with someone, call them names so you don't have to engage with them or acknowledge their basic common sense points. Right wing nut job, conspiracy theorist, anti vaxxer. Keep up the name calling. You and cdnavatar must be best friends. Like children that never grew up.

The numbers from pharma and our government also say that if you are still getting shots, YOU are the minority. The other 80% of the country has rejected further doses.

I’ll be getting another booster in about 5 months, now that I have experienced a more severe case of Covid, I have never had a fever before that made me wish for death, now I have!
You have made the leap that people have seen what you see but the reality is, for all intents and purpose I thought Covid was more or less done, that’s why I didn’t get another booster. I’m fairly certain most sane people had the same rational thought.

What is it like when you read these publications that claim they have the smoking gun, is it like you are part of some small group who knows the truth but everyone else is in the dark? Is that why you feel the need to post your garbage?
I have a friend who went in a dark hole like you and rig, et al, I can say with certainty that if we were not friends before and if I didn’t know the person he was before, I would never talk to or associate with him. We have decided that certain topics are off limits in order to continue being friends but I do struggle with the thought of his current beliefs.
Are you also preparing for the world currency to collapse, he has silver bricks and gold as well as crypto, cash will be useless soon, if you believe him. Did you know the Nazi’s built the US Marine base in San Diego and the Maui fires were from space lasers?
There is something in common with all of you, you have detached from reality and believe the nonsense put in front of you, without rational or logical thinking, I really only come here to see what whack job nutty crap you guys post, strictly for entertainment but I do pity you a bit.

Please quote one of my posts where I was in this dark hole you speak of. Please quote some of this garbage or nonsense I have posted.

I will ask this very direct question. Do you deny that our government and pharma claimed the mrna shots stopped infection and transmission?

I'm also not sure what publications I have claimed to have read. I watched the news and saw our government force medical treatment on people and threaten their jobs and livelihood if they didn't comply. They claimed that if you got the vaccine, you wouldn't get covid. That turned out to not be true. Do you disagree with this statement. If so, I have discovered the disconnect.

What part of this post is not true?

What part of my last few posts, or any for that matter were not true?

What publications have I quoted recently, or in the past that were not true?

You keep making these accusations that I did and said all this false stuff, but won't even quote me. Same with the guy who said I hated trans people. Can't remember which of you that was. Yet no quotes come out to back it up.

The Lancet is biased and uses altered data? Did hear about that at the Nuremberg trial?

Just a note on "long covid". This term existed prior to a single covid vaccine coming out. Here's a study from the Lancet with all subjects having covid prior to June 2020. 6 months before any vaccine was rolled out.
Sometimes facts get in the way of your narrative.

You DO understand that the Lancet is a biased collaborative organizing? Many of the initial articles you would have loved got retracted because of the data had been manipulated.

Probably around the same time that you realize that your high school science class education and "muh critical thinkin" isn't enough to understand even the most basic but of virology/immunology/epidemiology/pharmacology.
A GP isn't qualified to critique the almost complete consensus of actual experts/scientists, but here comes JerryRig and his trade school education.

You got 5 covid vaccines and got covid twice.

"Surely its some sort of proof that it works"

I wonder when people are going to figure out its the jab that is getting them sick...

The XBB 1.5 vaccine isn't supposed to prevent infection or eliminate transmission. That's not the purpose of any vaccine. Those are merely ancillary benefits. Reducing the load on the healthcare system is.

khedrei wrote: Sat Jan 13, 2024 7:53 am Its wild that despite the fact that about 80% of the population has refused to take anymore shots, and that everyone who took any shot still got covid, proving they didn't work as advertised, that you still think you were right. Its mind boggling. Like I said, I couldn't make it up.

If you are still getting shots, YOU are actually in the minority.

Who is taking the stand on something?
Not sure what kind of weird logic you're using there. Latest XBB.1.5 vaccine is about 50% effective at reducing hospitalisation, or about 70% in older patients. It doesn't stop you getting covid, but I'm quite happy with a 50% reduction in hospitalisation.

Ok, so to be clear, you deny that government, media, and big pharma made the claim that if you took these vaccines, you wouldn't get covid? And that they claimed that everyone should take it to prevent transmission? Again, that would explain the disconnect.

I would also disagree with your claim that the purpose of any vaccine isn't to prevent infection. Im pretty sure that is exactly what the polio and measles vaccines do. They prevent infection. Have I missed something? Thats an honest question, no undertone there.
