Seems the video is no longer available. Maybe the guy read the comments on here about his work.

Anyone know the real reason for the aborted TO for this flight?

I watched the first minute of taxiing, and then got bored and clicked the red X in the top right corner. Anyone care to mention what happened?

This topic is also on Airliners.net...they say an aircraft was crossing the runway.

Lost in Saigon wrote:The tires went flat after returning to the gate.

There is a lot of heat generated by the brakes during a rejected takeoff.

"WHEELS ARE EQUIPPED WITH FUSIBLE PLUGS DESIGNED TO MELT AND DEFLATE THE TIRE WHEN THE TEMPERATURE IS EXCESSIVE"
That finally makes sense, I couldn't understand why the crew would taxi back to the gate with blown tires.

That first video blew, and the demonic commentery sucked even more.

Thank goodness for Ralliart's movie link, I think he just prevented my suicide :?

In agreeance, that first video was unbelievably boring, and overdramatic, and uninformed, even though he didn't think so!

Second one I laughed my butt off though!

And lets be honest, as much as people love to bash Seneca, I don't think there is anyway he was a Seneca grad, much less a pilot....some of what he was saying I think someone with their private licence would know is wrong....

I would have done a better play by play...
Haza, "HOLY @#$! PEOPLE! WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!"

Asst. Passengers, "Save us brave Linecrew Man"

Haza, "I'LL SAVE YOU BUT I'LL NEED A 40 OF WHISKEY AND ALL THE FEMALES OVER THE AGE OF 17 AND UNDER THE AGE OF 60 TO JOIN ME IN THE REAR OF THE PLANE!"

Asst. Female Passengers, "Swoon"

What an idiot.........

unqualified comments and "subtitles" show extreme immaturity.

in my books anytime the crew aborts a take off it's a good thing, because it means they use their experience training and judgement. as a pax in the back you have no clue what's going on on th flight deck. so, to "produce" a video with such commentary and posting it for all people to see definitely does NOT instill confidence in the travelling public, and shows how much of a moron you are rather than an aviator.

Any chance this guy has the letter "L" tattooed on his forehead. If not I will gladly buy him one so everyone would have a heads up before talking to him.

Seem to remember some comment about, "glad the seat next to me is empty, or someone would be having problems with their right hand" pretty sure it was something like that. any explanations for that gem?

That second video is the only redeeming feature to this thread!

And remember...the most common mistake up-and-coming pilots make is over thrusting!

MY GOD!!

WHAT A MORON!! Settting up on the outer marker..getting takeoff clearance..MY LORD!! MORON! ..

Towards the end of the move it sounded like he was drunk, high, or something.

Also, i've never seen such an abuse of the English language. "This is very very very not good" WTF! OR..." applying full flaps" Aka..spoilers you moron!!

That clown should go back to Seneca College and take a photojournalism class before ever being allowed to turn on his camera on again.

Oh for crying out loud, this yahoo isn't a grad of Seneca, Sault, Confed, Selkirk or any other aviation college/program/Mom & Pop flight school. He obviously knows only enough about aviation to appear informed to the uninformed. And seems to be a nervous flier to boot.

Always amazes me how everyone so readily jumps on the bandwagon. Yeah, yeah... he went to Seneca!! Seneca people are stoopeed!!
